Leider sind das alles vollkommen verschiedene PC's angefangen beim 486er bis zum PIII.

Die Frage nun ist welche Distribution bietet sich in welcher Version an....

Gentoo und LFS kann man in diesen Fall ganz knicken da ich eigendlich in 1-2 Tagen fertig sein moechte.

Bei Suse gibt es 2 Probleme. Die neuen Versioenen kann man zwar nach Standart fernadministrieren aber werden auf einem 486er wohl nicht laufen.
Und die alten Versionen arbeiten mit Yast und da ist fernadministrieren wohl ein Traum.....

Momentan gibt es 2 Distributionen zu denen ich Tendiere:

Debian und Redhat (in diesen Fall nicht fedora das kann man aufm 468 wohl vergessen)

Die Frage ist nun funktionieren die aktuellen Debian PAckete einigermassen fluessig aufm 486er oder muss ich da 1-2 stable-versionen runtergehen.

Bei Redhat ist die Frage Welche Version fuzt noch unter einem 486er fluessig mit X hat da jemand erfahrung... das letzte mal als ich ein Redhat system unter einem 486er installiert hab war das mit einem Redhat 5.1 also schon ewig her....
