Mein xorg beschwert sich, dass 7 MB Speicher (Grafikkarte) für die gewählte Auflösung benötigt werden. So ein Mist, meine hat nur 4 MB, und er nimmt somit keine 1280x1024, sondern nur 1024x768:-(
Wer hilft mir aus der Patsche, und vermacht mir eine Matrox PCI mit mindestens 8 MB?
Das VGA-Bios muss abschaltbar sein, entweder per Jumper oder es schaltet sich automatisch weg.

Es gibt einige Matrox Millenium, die haben 8 MB, oder eine 4er, die per 4MB Upgrade-Modul geupgradet wurde.

Ein 4 MB Upgrade-Modul wuerde üebrigens das Problem auch loesen.

Dann gibbet noch G200 als PCI, oder G400, mit satten 32 MB;-) Darüber würde sich mein Triplehead-19 Zöller am meisten freuen;-)
